The Middle School Media Center supplies information to our sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students as well as staff. We offer information access in books, pamphlets, magazines, audiovisual materials, CD-ROMS, online databases, and the Internet. Every language arts class in the building is scheduled for a research project during the school year. Many other classes also use the library for research projects such as art history and earth science. We take great pride in teaching our students how to utilize the resources available in this "Information Age" and in fulfilling the mission of creating lifelong learners.
Our media center catalog is automated and available online. It may be accessed from any computer with internet access. Students may also look for materials available in other buildings in our district. Library personnel may request needed items from other buildings.
Students may use the library with a class as scheduled by their teacher, before and after school, during study hall if there is not a class scheduled, and with a pass from a teacher.
